Jounetsu/Passion

I’ve been the webmistress of a fair number of sites and even a few domains, which I’ve been designing for about six years now. I tend to prefer simple, clean designs since most of my websites are content-based (with a large quantity of content) and because I’m lazy like that, I suppose.

My first domain was faerie-dream.net (now defunct, as all of my websites are), and was more of a practice domain for me to play around with and get used to internet life with. Once I disassembled that site, I moved on to being hosted at in-a-minute.net (also defunct now). I then got greedy, and formed tainted-obsessions.org, hosting some people on that server, but ultimately deleting it because my service provider was getting too expensive. After that, for roughly three months I was without a rudder and siteless. At least until I created bel-esprit.org, which was probably my most active domain (I was only hosting my own sites, but maintained six or seven of them, including one fanlisting), until now–the dear girl I bought my package from had her account with her hosts (she was a reseller) deleted and I lost all of the work on my domain.

Preferring to perhaps return to a hosted life instead of opening yet another (clearly temporary, given my history) domain, I created a temp layout on a Geocities account in order to search for a hoster or hostess. After creating that site and linking dearest Iva, she (probably by looking at her incoming links page) offered to host me.

Clearly, I took her up on her offer.
